Concrete dwelling

Streetlights pave way to nothingness
and I’m searching for hope in every corner.
Walking in the pavement with empty eyes,
trying to read faces, to find love and honour

I’m trying to find a dark corner
there’s too much light everywhere;
Trying to ease the empty heart,
it’s a night I have to crawl, to bear…

There are mystic alleys
where one can quench desires,
cold cold places under the light
love to sell, there are friends to hire …

Can’t believe there is warm blood running inside of me
neon lights and passing cars … yet my heart is blue,
so hard to find love here, so hard
among the vast strangeness of concrete hue…
